This men's group meets periodically for fellowship, inspiration, and
planning of service projects and events. among the regular activities of
this group are: gold tournament fund-raisers, periodic husband and wife
dinners out, a college scholarship fund, mother and daughter banquet,
men's breakfasts, an annual fish fry, and an annual spaghetti supper.
Our primary purpose is to acknowledge the centrality of Christ in the
lives of men and in all our relationships..
These are our major concerns:

to encourage knowledge of and support for the total mission of the
united Methodist church.

to engage in evangelism by sharing the fullness of the gospel
-
to clarify and speak to the identity and role of the man in
contemporary society.

to seek commitment to discipleship.

to study and become familiar with the united Methodist church, its
organization, doctrines, and beliefs.

to cooperate with all units of united Methodist men in obtaining
these objectives through district, conference and church wide goals.
Men seeking membership into the united Methodist men will be asked to
subscribe to the major concerns just mentioned and to these personal
objectives:

to engage daily in bible study and prayer.

to bear witness to Christ's way in daily work and in all personal
contacts through words and actions.

to engage in Christian service.
Men of all ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate. this is a
terrific opportunity for making new Christian friends and for
strengthening our service efforts.
