Our church maintains a Counseling Center on site under the direction of Dr. A. Robert Nix. Dr. Nix is a licensed professional counselor, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and an ordained United Methodist minister. Underlying the entire counseling process is an explicit Christian value system. The Counseling Center is located on the first floor and is open Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. by appointment. To schedule an appointment call 571-2582.

• Premarital counseling and testing
• Marriage counseling for conflict resolution and couple growth
• Parent and family counseling
• Group counseling for special issues
• Youth counseling (home, school, peer group problems)
• Separation and divorce counseling
• Diagnosis, consultation, and referral services
• Grief and loss counseling
• Religious career counseling
• Clergy counseling

In addition, Dr. Nix provides workshops, seminars, retreats, and education programs for personal growth, marriage enrichment, family health, human sexuality, and other areas of interest for churches, classes, and organizations.
