The Education Committee of John Wesley United Methodist Church encourages you to read the Bible as a family. In order to support you in this, we would like to introduce you to a resource developed by The United Methodist Church’s General Board of Discipleship. This resource called What Every Child Should Experience is a guide for sharing the content of the Bible with our children. Stories of the Bible are grouped in this resource by ages, showing what is appropriate to expect children to be exposed to year by year from Newborn to eleven years old. The information contained in ‘What Every Child Should Experience’ can be beneficial to all of God’s children, no matter what age! Join us on Sunday February 5th (from 10:00 – 10:30AM in the Chapel) and on Wednesday February 15th (from 6:00 – 6:30PM in the Parlor) to explore this resource.
